These salmon rice bowls are loaded with the works! It's an abundance of fresh ingredients all piled together in one bowl for maximum flavor.

You get a harmonious blend of various textures, an exciting combination of flavors that all highlight each other perfectly, and there's a visually pleasing variety of vibrant color.

It's made up of nutritious ingredients and it's such a filling dish. I'm a white rice fan lately but you can easily swap white jasmine rice for brown rice (regular, short grain, or jasmine brown rice) or quinoa.

I've also listed other various substitutes to use in this dish based on what you have on hand (see ideas below).

This is one to add to the dinner rotation, it's incredibly delicious!

This salmon salad recipe is similar to tuna salad but better! It has more flavor and it's a nice change from the same thing we've been eating for decades. I think it may likely become a new favorite!

It's flavorful, filling, contains healthy fats (omega 3 fatty acids), vitamins and minerals, and it is something you can feel great about eating!

And if you make it for dinner for just one or two people you'll be lucky to have some left for an on the go-lunch the next day.

The Best Fish Tacos with Salmon

When you want a quick dinner that doesn't skimp on flavor these salmon tacos are an excellent choice!

They are layered with an abundance of fresh Baja-style flavor.

You get that classic masa taste from the tortilla, the complexity of well seasoned salmon in the filling, vibrant lime and creamy richness from the taco slaw, and a highlight of herbaceous finish from the cilantro.

And I think you'll appreciate the layering of a trio of textures - including a soft and chewy tortilla, buttery salmon, and crunchy cabbage.

It's all the perfect blend and a dish fit for company!

A quick dinner with vibrant and slightly sweet flavor!

5-Ingredient Brown Sugar Salmon

For this recipe you only need 5 ingredients (plus the standard salt and pepper)! And the prep couldn't be easier.

You don't even need to remove the skin from the salmon. It will just easily peel away after baking.

The glaze is sweet and tangy and pairs deliciously well with the buttery salmon. The combo of brown sugar and mustard works wonders here and a little lemon zest highlights those flavors.

Pair it with steamed rice and asparagus for a quick, minimal-ingredient meal that's both filling and delicious!

It's flawlessly delicious!

Winning Broiled Salmon

My favorite way to make broiled salmon! I've long been partial to that honey-lime combo with salmon and here it was the clear winner vs. other marinades.

It perfectly highlights the flavors of salmon and the honey assists in encouraging browning. Then the final touch of spices and one extra layer of flavor.

This recipe is a breeze to prepare yet the end result is perfectly impressive and even restaurant worthy.

You get a tender, flaky, buttery interior and a gorgeously browned exterior with crisp edges, similar to a grill-kissed flavor. So much to love in every bite!

Serve it with coconut rice (or plain jasmine rice) and sauteed vegetables (such as bell peppers, corn, red onion and squash), or a black bean and corn salad to complete it.

Blackened Salmon https://www.cookingclassy.com/blackened-salmon/ https://www.cookingclassy.com/blackened-salmon/#comments Wed, 14 Jul 2021 05:03:56 +0000 https://www.cookingclassy.com/?p=61091 Well seasoned, pan seared Blackened Salmon with a buttery honey lime sauce! It's a quick and easy dish that packs in so many layers of well balanced flavor.

Photo: Blackened salmon shown topped with buttery honey lime sauce. Parsley and limes are shown as garnishes.

Bold Blackened Salmon

Blackened salmon is made using a cooking technique where fish fillets are liberally seasoned with a cajun spice rub then pan seared in a hot skillet until fairly well darkened (or blackened) on the exterior.

A beautiful crisp crust is formed and it has a nice hint of a charred flavor which highlight its more mellow interior.

Then with this specific recipe you also get a welcome final upgrade of a butter based honey and lime sauce to take it to a whole new level of delicious!

So much flavor in every tender bite!

Here as far as heat goes you can control just how spicy (or mild) you'd like it by adjusting the cayenne pepper to taste. That's part of the beauty of cooking at home, making things to taste.

On a side note don't shy away from the recipe just because there appears to be a daunting list of ingredients. Most of it is just spices you likely already have on hand.

And if you even insist you could skip the sauce and still have an incredibly satisfying seafood dinner.

Baked Salmon with Crisp Parmesan Crust

Salmon is one of my favorite entrees and if you are going to spend the money on it it had better be good right?

This has been one of my go-to recipes lately because my whole family enjoys it, even the kids who aren't big seafood fans (with that tasty coating it's like upgraded chicken tenders).

You'll love that it only needs a handful of ingredients yet it really packs in the flavor. And like many of my recipes are this is another versatile one too.

Just be sure to finish with that fresh lemon for that final layer of flavor, but as recommended only add right before eating. Otherwise you'll soften that deliciously crispy coating.

Baked Salmon with Brown Sugar and Lime Glaze

Salmon is one of my favorite things to make. It's healthy, hearty and always satisfying. You can never have too many salmon recipes, especially when they are this good!

This baked salmon recipe requires minimal ingredients and has such a quick prep. Plus, you'll love this flavor pairing of sweet brown sugar combined with bright and tart fresh lime to compliment the rich and buttery flavor of the salmon.

Another thing you'll love about this recipe is that clean up is a breeze thanks to the use of Reynolds Kitchens Unbleached Parchment Paper! I love that it’s a parchment paper that is environmentally conscious, responsibly-sourced, chlorine free, and made with 75% unbleached fiber.

It is also naturally non-stick which makes it perfect for lining pans before baking poultry, seafood, vegetables, desserts and more - and without adding oil or grease!

It also works great for other things like separating pancakes before freezing to keep them from sticking, or to layer between shaped burger patties to keep them in their individual uniform shape until ready to grill.

I love to use Reynolds Kitchens Unbleached Parchment Paper with this Salmon recipe because it keeps a sticky brown sugar glaze from burning all over the baking dish. Plus the salmon fillets slide right off of this paper without any stubborn sticking.

I'm happy to add another trusted Reynolds product to my kitchen collection to make baking more seamless! It’s perfect for this recipe and so many more!

Salmon Patties {Salmon Cakes} https://www.cookingclassy.com/salmon-patties-salmon-cakes/ https://www.cookingclassy.com/salmon-patties-salmon-cakes/#comments Thu, 13 Jun 2019 02:42:58 +0000 https://www.cookingclassy.com/?p=45640 Salmon Patties - perfectly crisp on the outside and deliciously tender and flaky on the inside! Made with fresh salmon instead of canned and full of flavor. A hearty salmon dinner that's sure to impress!

Eight crispy salmon patties on a white serving platter. One is broken in half to show interior.

The Best Salmon Patties - AKA Salmon Cakes

Who can resist a freshly pan fried salmon patty? Perfectly golden brown and brimming with fresh flavor!

These aren't as easy as some versions you may find with canned salmon but I'm telling you it is well worth the extra step of chopping up and using fresh salmon! There's just no comparison.

These are perfectly seasoned with fresh herbs, lemon zest and dijon and they have just enough fat to keep them tender. And the panko bread crumbs, mayonnaise and egg yolks help hold it all together.

Then that final breading adds a tempting crunch, and frying in olive oil adds more flavor (plus it's a healthier option).

If you love salmon be sure to try this recipe, it does not disappoint!

Baked Salmon with Buttery Honey Mustard Sauce https://www.cookingclassy.com/baked-salmon-with-buttery-honey-mustard-sauce/ https://www.cookingclassy.com/baked-salmon-with-buttery-honey-mustard-sauce/#comments Tue, 29 Jan 2019 03:46:38 +0000 https://www.cookingclassy.com/?p=40080 This is the easiest Baked Salmon with a sweet and tangy Buttery Honey Mustard Sauce! This recipe requires minimal effort, ONLY 5 basic ingredients, and the flavor is perfectly delicious. Four salmon fillets in a baking dish brushed with a sweet and tangy, buttery honey mustard sauce.

Baked Salmon Recipe with a Simple Sauce

In the winter aren't we all using the oven to cook salmon (grilling just isn't happening in this 20 degree whether)?

It's such a simple foolproof method to cook salmon and it always yields deliciously tender, flavorful results (as long as you don't over-bake it!).

Of course salmon is good on it's own spritzed with a bit of fresh lemon but of course it's just that much better with a second layer of flavor, by finishing it with a bright sauce.

This sauce couldn't be easier to make. No simmering and reducing, no lengthy list of ingredients, and no 30 minute marinating - all you need to do is blend a few simple ingredients and you've got a sauce that will take salmon to next level goodness!
